B Sharp Arts Engagement® is a life enrichment and research program for people with dementia and their care partners who wish to attend the Fort Collins Symphony and participate in evidence-based research examining the sense of connection, mood, and cognition related to experiencing the symphony. We are beginning our 6th season in 2021.
Events are held at the Lincoln Center (10/2/21, 11/6/21, 2/5/22, 3/5/22, 5/14/22) and Timberline Church (3/25/22) in Fort Collins with all events following Larimer County Covid restriction guidelines. Participants will complete surveys after each performances. Tickets to the performances will be underwritten by generous Northern Colorado donors to the Fort Collins Symphony. The local Alzheimer’s Association and Larimer County Office on Aging are also collaborating with us to offer this program.
Receptions for participants are at 6:15-7:30 pm prior to the performances which begin at 7:30 pm.
Registration is REQUIRED as we only have spots for 30 couples.
