Every volunteer with Dementia Together must pass a background check and attend a SPECAL® volunteer orientation class.
Dementia Together prioritizes the safety and well-being of our participants and reserves the right to review and approve all volunteer requests.
How to become a DT volunteer:
1. Complete the volunteer interest form (Click START HERE) it will take you to another page to complete it.
2. We will contact you to complete our Intro to SPECAL® volunteer orientation class and complete the quiz and evaluation.
3. After completing the SPECAL® class, DT staff will contact you to complete a background check.
4. Once you complete a SPECAL® class and background check, you will receive instructions on how to sign up for upcoming events and tasks based upon needs.
