Join Dementia Together at our monthly events and help those living with dementia and their families find joy on the journey.
Reach out to us to find out where you can donate your time and talents. Dementia Together’s volunteer opportunities are based on our organization’s need.
Every volunteer with Dementia Together must pass a background check and attend a Doing Dementia Together™ volunteer orientation class.
Dementia Together prioritizes the safety and well-being of our participants and reserves the right to review and approve all volunteer requests.
How to become a DT volunteer:
1. Complete the volunteer interest form (Click START HERE) You will be taken to another page to complete it.
2. We will contact you to complete a background check.
3. After completing and passing the background check, DT staff will contact you to complete our Doing Dementia Together™ volunteer orientation class and complete the quiz and evaluation.
4. Once you complete the class and background check, you will receive instructions on how to sign up for upcoming events and tasks based upon needs.
Please note: Our regular business hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, which is when most of our volunteer opportunities take place.
